Films
Bromley started to use video tape in his work in the early 1990’s. At first these started out as image and sound pieces with some text and voice over, he then moved on to some ‘story-line’ based films with different characters playing the parts within the story.
Sometimes these parts were played by non-professional actors, whose role within the film wouldn’t always be explained. The actor would be presented in a scene within the film and have a set of lines to say, usually spoken directly at the camera. These short films worked with a varying degree of success.
Along side these films, Bromley started to make Documentaries; for more information on new film and photography projects go to New Projects or Bromley's production company 1968 Film Group.
